Would I be able to lose weight with HEMOCODE?

Is HEMOCODE a miracle diet?
It is not a miracle diet, but a statistically based diet modification. Unlocking your HEMOCODETM may get to the root of your problem. Food sensetivities may be the cause of a weight problem and inhibit the success of losing weight with conventional diets. The HEMOCODETM system looks at foods on a one-by-one basis for individual intolerances.
I have started my weight management program and I have been losing weight quickly. Is that dangerous to my health?
No. The HEMOCODETM program does not require you to cut calorie consumption thus your nutritional needs are never threatened. Results may vary but is has been observed that some patients have lost up to 8lbs per week.
Do I have to visit my doctor to give a blood sample?
No. HEMOCODETM has a team of trained professionals who are fully equipped to take the sample required for the testing.
What are the most common incompatible food groups?
Food intolerance is a highly individual matter. What is healthy for one person could be damaging for another. Nonetheless, experience with HEMOCODETM has shown that milk, milk products and grains cause immune reactions in most people.
Gluten, egg protein, milk products and beer/baking yeast are very strong antigens must be strictly avoided in the case of intolerance. This is not always easy since these ingredients are present in many processed products.
Is it necessary that I use HEMOCODE in the future?
It is not necessary, but it may be recommended. Using HEMOCODETM at a later date may be recommended if symptoms reappear after strictly following your new diet. This could mean you have developed new intolerances. Should this be the case, you are also encouraged to seek the advice of your medical professional.
My HEMOCODE indicates I react to foods I`ve never eaten. How can that be?
Some foods come from the same plant family, for example the solanaceous family of herbs like potatoes, red peppers, eggplant, tomatoes and tobacco.
As an example, let’s say you react to soy. Even though you are positive you have never eaten soy you may have consumed it unknowingly. This is because soy and its extracts are added to a variety of processed foods. Poppy seeds another example that are often used in medications.
I would like to eat a food that wasn`t included in the HEMOCODE System. Am I allowed to do this?
It is rare people react to rare foods such as safflower oil or exotic fruits and vegetables such as parsnips. Should you want to consume a food that were not factored, you should monitor your reactions carefully during the following two to three weeks. If you do not develop symptoms, you may eat this food.
What should I do if I have a craving for a specific food?
The connection between intolerances and addiction is well known. When you suddenly have cravings for an incompatible food, hold on! Cravings usually let up after 3 to 5 days.
Can I eat sweets?
Absolutely! It simply depends on what sweets your thinking about. Try passing on industrially produced sweets like chocolate and cakes. Adjust your desserts to fit your diet plan. Select, for example, corn cookies, if you`re eating corn that day. Or a "spelt day" can include spelt crackers. You could also try a sweetened drink or to the fruit of the day.
Can I use frozen mixed-vegetables?
Yes, but you shouldn`t eat the same mixture everyday. Rotate the vegetable group according to the program.
I react to lemons. Do I have to avoid citric acid?
No, because citric acid is produced chemically, and as a result it has a different composition.
Why don`t I react to all milk products?
During the processing of milk, the proteins are modified or are lessened in the end products such as butter. This is why you may not react to all milk products.
What can I use as an alternative to milk?
There are several alternatives to cow milk such as:
Goat’s milk and cheese ovine milk and cheese, oat milk (avoid in the case of a gluten intolerance), stone pines milk, almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk
I have intolerance to milk, but not yogurt. I have a stronger reaction to cheese than milk. Why is that?

Can completely avoiding milk products lead to a calcium deficiency?
Most milk alternatives are calcium enriched. If you follow the rotation diet and include legumes as part of your diet, you should not develop a calcium deficiency. Broccoli also contains a high amount of calcium. Those with higher calcium needs may also take a calcium supplement with your meals. For a list of calcium-rich foods you can also refer to Chapter 2 of your Patient’s Manual.
I have an intolerance to all milk products. Can I still eat sauerkraut, although lactic acid is used for the production?
Yes, you can eat sauerkraut. The composition of the lactic acid in sauerkraut is not the same as the lactic acid found in milk.
What must I abstain from eating if I react to baker`s yeast?
In this case you must always ask whether the particular product was produced with baker`s yeast and ask your local health food store if there are products made with baking ferment or sourdough.
What can I use as a yeast-replacement?
Either baking powder (preferably cream of tartar) or, even better, baking ferment.
Which foods must I abstain from if I have a gluten intolerance?
The grains wheat, rye, barley, oat, spelt, and products made from these grains including bread, flour, cookies, pastries, pies, foods coated with breadcrumbs, pizza, pasta, malt and beer.
How long will I have to continue with my diet?
Some foods may have to be avoided for a long time but others may be reintroduced quite quickly (8-10 wk.). Generally you will see positive results within 3-4 weeks into the program.
If I react to yeast, must I avoid all alcoholic drinks?
Abstain from all alcohol at the beginning of the diet modification. Only once your general health has been markedly improved should you consume small quantities. Start with alcoholic beverages containing little yeast, like wine.
Will I able to drink alcohol while using the HEMOCODE Food Intolerance System?
The program is designed to ensure partially digested foods do not get into your bloodstream. It is recommended you abstain from alcohol consumption for a limited period of time (consult with your program for specific time frames)
Will I need to abstain from drinking alcohol for lengthy periods?
Once your body has healed and your level of inflammation has been reduced, you may once again drink. Please do so responsibly and take into consideration the other damaging effects of alcohol may have on your system.
My friend uses the HEMOCODE service, could I use theirs and see results?
It’s very doubtful. Blood samples are factored against 250 food extracts, spices and additives. The likelihood of the results being the same from one person to the next, even a family member, may be highly unlikely.
