Food intolerances are negative reactions to certain foods. These reactions are usually delayed, which makes them difficult to diagnose and eliminate. Food intolerance symptoms include headaches, bloating, acne, cramping, gas, nausea as well as many other issues. While some people may suffer from these symptoms occasionally, when you have a food intolerance you suffer from them on a daily basis, life becomes more challenging and almost every aspect of your life is more difficult.
If your body is spending energy trying to digest or fight off foods that are difficult for it cope with, you will have less energy for everything else that you need to do in a day. In addition, if you are unable to gain the nutrients and vitamins from certain foods, your body will be missing the fuel it needs to thrive. Over time, these conditions will leave you tired and unable to properly concentrate on even the simplest tasks. You’ll end up feeling worse, both physically and mentally.
Food intolerances may lead to a difficult time focusing on work or school. You may not have the energy to go out with your friends or spend time with family and, even if you do, you won’t be in a good enough mood to really enjoy yourself.
You certainly won’t feel like exercising or going to the gym. Your fatigue will slowly make your entire life more difficult and less enjoyable. That’s obviously not an ideal life.
It’s perfectly understandable if you feel tired sometimes. It makes sense if there are some days where you are just not able to concentrate. However, if you feel tired all the time or if you just can’t seem to focus on anything, there could be an underlying cause that you should be paying attention to.
The good news is that you do not have to live with these feelings or learn to deal with them. If you are feeling sluggish or uninterested by daily life, a solution may be found in your diet. Everyone is different and some people are unable to eat certain foods. Once you have your food intolerances diagnosed, you will know which foods to avoid and you’ll be able to replace the nutrients and vitamins found in those foods with other sources that do not give you problems.
You’ll be amazed at how much better you’ll feel and how much easier your daily life will become. You may even want to head back to the gym!
